But to look at it in a positive way, the ship wasn't scheduled to depart until 5:00 pm anyway. We arrived in Quebec City early afternoon, so we got on the ship on schedule and arrived in Quebec City a day early. And the sun is shining. A week earlier it would have been raining.
We had lunch and dinner on the ship today. Of course it was good and we were pleased that the proportions weren't too big.
This morning I did Tai Chi and entered the free throw contest. Sorry to say this is the first time I didn't win on a cruise. I doubt that I'll be playing much B ball, since the average age is in the 60's.
We are now in Starbucks using free wifi. We also took a $2 bus tour on the local Eco Bus, which is an electric bus that circulates around town. (Internet cost $12 for 100 minutes on the ship and a tour of the town cost at about $50 if you take an excursion through the cruise. You can't sucker me.)
Chateau Frontenac built in 1883 by the Canadian Pacific RR.
Nothing but net!
Last time I checked you weren't too far off from 60.
ReplyDeleteHappy mother's day! It sounds like you're having fun. Is it cold? Mom's always in her pink coat.
